USU Library | Utah State University Libraries

And, as you may have discovered by Googling, many academic journals and journal articles are not freely available online, but by digging through USU databases, you will get past those paywalls and access many great resources that, otherwise, it just wouldn't. I do not have access to it. Another interesting thing about our libraries is that if you discover writing that, for some reason, the library does not have access to, you will request it through an interlibrary loan and we can send you a PDF copy by email within 48 hours.

All you would like to try to find these sources is to log into the library's website along with your banner number and password.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will view the articles from anywhere you have an online connection. Using the library databases can be a great place to try to search your articles because not only do they include peer-reviewed articles, which are written and peer-reviewed in the field, but you will also find journals. , current newspapers and encyclopedias. inputs, which are great for getting background information. In addition to this, our databases also work well with dating managers like Zotero and Endnote, so if that's something you're interested in, feel free to ask us more about those services! Another resource that you will probably need for some time in the USU books.

USU Library And Study Abroad

Our library has a large collection of e-books that you can access by simply logging in along with your number and password. You will then search for them in the library catalog on our website at If the book is not available electronically, otherwise you really prefer physical books, the Merrill-CazierLibrary on the Logan campus can send you books from our physical pickup to your home, All you would like to try to request a book is log in to our interlibrary loan system and confirm that you choose “Distance Education” as your campus location,

We know that research tasks are often stressful and it is often overwhelming to search for relevant information, but as USU students, you have access to several resources to help make this process that much easier, including our wonderful librarians! At USU we have 27 research librarians, each of whom specializes in a specific discipline, from economics to music to psychology! Regardless of your specialization, there is a librarian who has extensive experience in your subject, simply write your specialty or subject in "Meet a librarian" to find the most suitable librarian to help you. Also, another thing to remember is that on the lower left side of each of your canvas courses there may be a research help tab.

This links to a guide packed with helpful class-specific research tips, and will also provide contact information for your class's personal librarian, whom you will meet at a meeting to ask for help. If you want quick live assistance from a librarian, you will always use our chat box found on the library home page.
